I’ve been running for 11 years now. Prior to starting with Run4PRs, I became stuck in a plateau and battled injuries for several years. Running eventually became a chore because it always felt so difficult and I wasn’t seeing any progress. My race times were actually slowing down. Once I joined Run4PRs I learned how to properly train at the fitness level I was at vs. where I wanted to be and as a result, I’ve broken old PRs that were 8-10 years old. I always thought of myself as an average runner and, on my own, wasn’t seeing big differences in my race times. I didn’t really think I could become a faster runner.
Since I started working with Coach Ben, I’ve PR’ed in literally every race distance. My “crazy goal” was to break 4 hours in the marathon, and I did that in Chicago last year.
